It's beginning to feel like Summer

With the official start of Summer being next Saturday, Market Day, today's weather feels like Summer is here! So next Saturday, 1st December, Slip, Slop and Slap before heading to Elwood Market for some great Christmas gifts!! elmie will be joined by friends, pony&pressed and sabato e domenica

Elwood Christmas Market

With only two weeks until the Elwood Christmas Market, elmie is busy printing and sewing. These photos were taken at the November market. Let's hope it's a great sunny day again. The market is on from 9am til 2pm at the Elwood Primary School Market, Scott St, Elwood.

Winter Artisans Market Finale

On this crisp Melbourne Saturday morning, the heaters were in full force for the last of the four Winter Artisans Market. The Northcote Town Hall is such a great venue for the markets and the sun seems to bring more people along!

Cushions

As part of the new elmie homewares collection, there's cushions in bright contrasting colours, upcycled business shirts and warm knitted materials.

As the cold weather sets in, elmie has been busy preparing for the Winter Artisans Market. With just over a week until the first market, elmie is looking forward to seeing lots of regular Northcote customers and meeting many new customers too. Whilst you'll still be able to find a few tshirts and softies, elmie has added some great homewares to the range to enjoy over the colder months whilst you spend more time indoors.

Hamish's Birthday Present

It's my nephew's birthday next month, but as the next few weekends are booked up with birthdays (including mine), I decided to get in early and build him a mini pirate ship. With a bit of wood from Bunnings, my awesome woodworking skills and Mum's handywork on the sewing machine, I managed to finish the pirate ship in one morning....and there's still a few weeks until his birthday!

Northcote Kris Kringle Market

This Thursday night, 24th November, from 5:30pm til 10pm, is the first Nortchote Kris Kringle Night Market, come and see elmie, outside in the civic square, under the gazebo which will be transformed into a forest full of owls!

Farmer's Market in the Mall

The sun is shining and there's a band playing. Grab a coffee and some fruit n veg, then drop by elmie to pick up a tshirt for the little ones in your life!

Design your own Slogan Tshirt

at elmie, you can design your own tshirt. If you bring in your tshirt, we can print your slogan on for $20. Or if you'd like elmie to provide the tshirt, it'll be $30. Ask in store for more details.

The Back Wall

To bring the shop together, elmie has put up a carnival scene on the back wall. Up close it looks like pages of dots, but from the shop door, you feel like you're walking into a fun fair!

It's snowing in Geelong!

It does feel like winter...but it's not really snowing. There were snow machines in the mall this morning - did someone say I'm dreaming of a white Christmas?!

elmie will be opening a pop up shop in Geelong this Saturday, 18th December. It's going to be open for a month and is in the Little Malop St Mall next to Banjo's Bakehouse!

First Market for 2010

After a big Summer holiday, elmie is getting ready for the first market of 2010 at the Lithuanian Club, 44 Errol St, North Melbourne. It's on this Sunday, 28th February, from 10am til 2pm and there is a $2 entry fee. elmie will have new tshirts and soft toys for sale and hopes to see you there!

Elwood Primary School Market

From 9am til 2pm this Saturday, elmie will be at the Elwood Primary School Market. It's on Scott St, Elwood, Melways ref 67 C2. It's a great market with everthing from a sausage sizzle to trash and treasure, fresh fruit and veg and of course, elmie products, including new tshirts!
